Flight notes
Yesterday, we arrived in Macau through heavy rain and low visibility. We made it safely onto Runway 34, but the weather meant we barely got to see the city we had just flown into.
The next day was completely different.
With much better conditions, we switched to the Cessna 172 Skyhawk and took off from Macau International Airport to finally explore Macau from the air.
From Runway 34, we headed toward the HZMB Macau Port before turning toward the Macau Peninsula. Flying low over the city gave us views of Grand Lisboa, Macau's waterfront and the former Taipa Racecourse.
We then continued toward Dahengqin Island and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom before turning back toward Macau International Airport.
After seeing from above what the rain had hidden from us the day before, we lined up once again with Runway 34 and landed back at VMMC.
Our Macau stop was complete. Next, the journey continues toward Shenzhen.
