Flight notes
After moving from Kai Tak to Hong Kong International ahead of the approaching storm, we had reached the next stage of our journey.
Before leaving Hong Kong behind, however, I wanted to take one last look at the area from the air. This time, we switched to the Cessna 172 Skyhawk for a slow, low-altitude flight around Lantau Island.
Flying low gave us a closer look at the landscape surrounding Hong Kong International, including the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge, Tai O, Shek Pik Reservoir and Mui Wo.
After completing the tour, we returned to Hong Kong International. With Lantau explored, we were ready to continue the journey toward Macau.
Low-altitude scenic tour over Lantau Island and HKZM Bridge.
