Flight notes
After the challenging night approach into Kai Tak, I wanted to see the same area from a completely different perspective.
The next day, I took the Vision Jet G2 up for a relaxed scenic flight around Hong Kong. Flying low around the mountains, harbour and dense urban landscape gave a much better view of the terrain surrounding Kai Tak, and also showed why approaches into this airport became so legendary.
After exploring the area from above, we headed back to Kai Tak and finished the flight with a landing on Runway 31.
